Week of 5/22 -5/26/17

Hello Panthers! What an amazing weekend! Even the little rain we did have couldn’t stop the sun from shining and the opportunity to spend some quality time outside! We are getting close to the end. Anytime you move within 10 days from the finish line everyone starts to get a little antsy. Clam and steady gets us across the finish line!
Shoes, shoes, shoes! Panthers, WE DID IT!!  We collected 9205 pairs of shoes during our shoe drive - well over our goal of 7500!!  It's not too late to donate shoes if you haven't had the opportunity to clean out your closets yet.  All shoes that we collect will help others around the world, so bring them in through the end of the school year.

Week of 5/1-5/5/17

Hello Panthers, I hope you had a wonderful weekend and were not impacted by our crazy weekend weather once again. I have mixed thoughts on whether or not it is a good thing that the crazy weather has been happening on the weekend. Good for school, not so much for weekend plans. Someone asked me how many days of school we had left. This is taboo in education, so I cannot answer that question. I know for students, they probably feel like it cannot end soon enough. There are probably some staff members that feel the same way. Regardless of those feelings, the reality is that we still have business to take care of over the next five weeks!

Shoe Drive Update Wow! What a difference a week makes! We collected 1002 pairs of shoes this past week and have a total of 3003 pairs of shoes!  Let's keep the momentum going and keep asking friends, neighbors, family members and coworkers to donate their shoes.  This has been accomplished with the help of 210 students bringing in shoes.  We have a few…

Week of 5/30-6/1/17

Hello Panthers! We have made it to the final week! I can’t believe that another year has almost gone by. This has certainly seemed like the fastest year of the last three. Maybe that is what happens as you get older, time flies. I hope you were able to enjoy the Memorial Day weekend. I would say that I had an enjoyable weekend, but it sure did go by fast for three days. I have a feeling the next three days are going to go just as fast.

Fun Color Run I just want to remind everyone that we have a Fun Color Run on Wednesday evening, starting at 6:30 and ending around 8:30. It should be a fun event for the students. There will be food trucks and music and fun. There is a $15 cost to participate. Proceeds will benefit Ridgeview Athletics. For more information, please see the flyer.
