Week of 8/28 - 9/1/17

Hello Panthers! I hope that we are able to dry out in the very near future so we can assess damage to the surrounding areas. It seems like just a short time ago that we had the Memorial Day floods. No doubt, we will be doing our part to help those that have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. If you would like to know how to help, the Austin Disaster Relief Network has put out a list of items in need. At the top of the list is new underwear and socks of all sizes. Hand sanitizer is also on the list. Tomorrow I will meet with Ridgeview club leaders, PTA, and local emergency operations. By late tomorrow, Ridgeview will announce how you can help support efforts. My thoughts are with those families impacted by the wind and rain, most notably those in the Houston area.

2 Hour Delay - Monday 8/28 You should have received notice that we will be on a two hour delay tomorrow. We will start dismissing students to advisory at 10:05 in the morning. We will run a modified schedule of 30 minute classes…

This should let some of the elementary traffic clear. I promise that we will not start classes until all the cars in the car rider line have unloaded :)

If you enter the Northeast parking lot, please do not park in the numbered parking spots. These belong to teachers and I REALLY need my teachers in the building on the first day of school.

If your student is riding a bike to school. Please remind them to walk their bike onto campus from the crosswalk at Sonoma and Fernspring. We also e…
